Being mindful of your immediate surroundings, all of the noises, the smells, tastes, and feels is how you allow yourself to be present. Mindfulness does not have to be practiced sitting still, enjoy a nice stroll in Central Park. Listen to the birds, dogs, feel the sun, smell the flowers\u2014this is a great way to be mindful in New York City.
